OneOak Looking to Hire a Sr. Industrial Designer
We are looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to join us at our office located in Metro Vancouver, BC. This is a position that is intended to foster the growth and expansion of OneOak Design’s full service Design capabilities. You will be part of a truly multi-disciplinary team that understands the nuance required to bring a highly integrated technology product to market.
In order to apply for this position, we require the following:
* A degree in Industrial Design, Engineering or a related discipline/equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience working as an Industrial Designer or Design Engineer.
* A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to work through the steps of a program that begins with conceptualization through to finely detailed design features.
* Communication and conceptualization skills that provides guidance to both the internal team and clarity and confidence to our clients.
* An ability to use and weave magic through 2D software such as the Adobe Creative Suite
* A level of competence in 3D software that allows for your ability to step in and provide Mechanical Design when and where needed

The OneOak office is located 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Vancouver is a 45 minute drive from the United States border and a 3 hour drive from Seattle.
